Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No. 1 is a highly anticipated film and will see Varun and Sara share screen space for the first time. The shooting of the much-awaited film began yesterday on August 10 in Bangkok. Fans of the actors are already too excited to see their collaboration on the big screen. Just yesterday, pictures from the movie sets of Coolie No. 1 came out and while Varun gave a nod to his dearest daddy’s project, mommy did her bit as well. David Dhawan’s wife and Varun mother, Karuna Dhawan gave the Mahurat clap for the movie.

Now, just one day after the shoot began, a teaser poster of Coolie No. 1 is out. The teaser poster shows a coolie holding heaps of luggage and it reads #guesswhoiscoming ? While this is only a teaser, the main posters will be out on Monday, i.e, tomorrow. Taran Adarsh took to his social media handle to share the teaser poster and wrote, “Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan... Teaser poster of #CoolieNo1... Main posters will be out tomorrow [Mon]... Filming has commenced in #Bangkok... Directed by David Dhawan... Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh... 1 May 2020 release.” Check out the teaser here:


Directed by David Dhawan, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani & Deepshikha Deshmukh. Coolie No. 1 originally featured Govinda and Karishma Kapoor and was released in 1995. The remake is slated to release on May 1, 2020.
